Kyla Quinn & Her Boyfriends embody the essence of vintage jazz especially in the style of Billie Holiday. They portray the American Songbook in an intimate and emotional fashion that will intrigue audiences. Kyla's warm singing tone, sensitivity, and power balances beautifully with the Boyfriends swinging and be-bop playing nature which always calls for a spectacular time where ever they play! Kyla and the Boyfriends met in the Brooklyn jazz jam scene and have been playing with each other ever since. They are creative with their song arrangements and always bring something new that is their own to the classic standards we all love.

 

They have played in NYC at The Nomad Hotel, The Standard Hotel, The Flatiron Room, The Bathtub Gin, The Penrose, The Sweet Afton, and many more. Kyla, also performed with the grammy awarding winning swing band "Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks" which is featured on the show "Boardwalk Empire".  

 

The number of players you desire is flexible starting from 2 players and expanding to 7-8. We are open to song requests (either jazz or pop) ahead of time.
